Extra product content

Add any type of additional content to your product details pages with the "extra product content" tool. (See also the custom category content tool for category pages.)

Features include:

• add any kind of content, including dynamic content from apps like FAQ, testimonials, gallery, slideshow and more, or any kind of normal content, including video
• choice of locations on the page to display the extra content
• add content which automatically shows on all product pages
• each product can also have its own collection of extra content
• ideal for supporting advertising campaigns

The extra product content tool is available on the Advanced plan or as an add-on for the Ecommerce plan.

Add extra content to *ALL* product pages

1. Ensure you're on the Advanced plan (or have enabled this add-on for Ecommerce).
2. In the shop app settings page, go to the "Product details pages" tab, scroll down to the Extra product page content section and open the content manager.
   
3. In the panel that opens, add placeholders for your content sections.
4. The "Edit" link will open the full page editor in a new browser tab. Add your content using the content block menu, then save and close the tab when you're finished editing.
5. Back in the Extra product content section, toggle the status of your section from "Offline" to "Live" to start showing your content on all product pages. 

Add extra content to *individual* product pages

1. Ensure you're on the Advanced plan.
2. In the manage products section of the shop app, edit any product and go to the "Description" tab.
3. Scroll down to the "Extra product content" section and add placeholders for your content sections.
4. The "Edit" link will open the full page editor in a new browser tab. Add your content using the content block menu, then save and close the tab when you're finished editing.
5. Back in the Extra product content section, toggle the status of your section from "Offline" to "Live" to start showing your content on the product page.
